Who/What is LinkVETS

LinkVetsTM - The Veterans Resource Network is a division of Alpha Ten Technologies, Inc. and was established to provide military service members, veterans, their families, friends and organization the benefits and power of an effective and focused online network.

Our goal is simple. We strive to provide our military veterans a worthwhile community that will give them the resources to effectively connect, communicate and collaborate with their peers, businesses and professionals within the government and commercial sector and enable them to take the next step forward towards continued success in their endeavors.

Some of the services and features offered by LinkVETS include:
1.    Timely and Relevant Articles – LinkVETS offers articles relevant to veterans, veteran owned businesses and government services professionals and firms with timely and relevant articles. Members are also encouraged to submit their own articles to share valuable information to other members, promote their own business, build a publication portfolio, promote their business or to receive Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits as required in many industry certifications and licenses.
2.    VetSocNet™ - The Veteran Social Network – LinkVETS members can build their own online network via VetSocNet™. Through VetSocNet, members can build their own web page, meet other VetSocNet members and share photos, videos, blogs and more.
3.    Community Forum – Just like any community, LinkVETS offers a general discussion board wherein members can discuss various topics of interest.
4.    Career Center – via MyAlphaJobs™ - The Professional Resource for Government Careers, LinkVETS members will get latest career opportunities within the Government Services industry.
5.    Low-Cost and Effective Job Posting Services – Employers can post job requirements to the most cost-effective job sites focused in the government services industry. Employers can post jobs into MyAlphaJobs for as low as $10.00/job ad and have their post appear in LinkVETS™, VetSocNet™ and over 5000 other websites, blogs and online classifieds that include LinkedIn, MySpace, Facebook, New York Post Classifieds, Lycos Classifieds and Military.com Classifies.
6.    Announce Events – LinkVETS provides another FREE platform for members to announce or advertise events such as conferences, conventions, seminars or birthday parties.
7.    Online Classifieds – Coming soon, LinkVETS will offer a powerful and FREE online classified ads engine
8.    Tools to promote your business or services for FREE – LinkVETS offers several other various tools and resources to promote your business or services for FREE, including web links feature to add your website URL and a free business directory.

For businesses, LinkVETS™ offer promotional services that will allow advertisers to potentially rich a niche market of veterans, military service members, government services professionals, their families and friends and other businesses either owned or operated by veterans.

Since this is our first shot at Online Community Building Arena, we realize that there are plenty of room for improvements and what-have-you. This project is a work in progress and will evolve in due time with your help, suggestions and support. Therefore, for now we shall call LinkVETS more appropriately as The Veterans Resource Network beta version. It is our hope that as we evolve and grow, we are also able to provide you our brothers and sisters in service with the right resources and tools toward your continued professional and personal growth.
